Ondo 2024: Who else got the oracle’s signature? but Jimoh Ibrahim

In the olden days before kings are elected, to govern a town or city in Yorubaland, no one has the power to choose anyone as the next king but the traditional institution through consultation and divination of the Oracle that chooses the next king.

In the modern days, especially Nigeria politics, the oracle has shifted to government corridors of power, political heavyweights and godfathers who chooses and annoits their candidates at will for any political election.

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries to elect the candidate who will contest the Nov. 16 governorship election in Ondo State, there have been series of politiking, political calculations, endorsements and what-a-view from political gladiators in the party.

There is no gain saying that aside of all polical calculations, grassroots movements among others, the Oracle’s signature carries at least 60 percent of annoited candidate for the APC primaries and ultimately steer the ship of Ondo State for the next four years.

Many of the APC aspirants ranging from Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Chief Olusola Oke, Wale Akintetinwa, Mayowa Akinfolarin, Paul Akintelure, Jimi Odinayo, Dayo Faduyile, Issac Kekemeke and host of others have been yearning to get the Oracle’s signature without success.

Many of these aspirants who have hitherto been claiming series of endorsements from every available sources and political bigwigs to get noticed in order to step up their tides ahead of their primaries, as many of them has abandoned their jobs and seek refuge in Abuja all in the name of getting the Oracle’s signature.

Among all aspirants on the row, only, Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, didn’t get dettered and didnt loose focus but rather fixed his gaze on the ball by visiting all the 203 wards for grassroots mobilisation, empowerment and educating ward leaders to capture his data strategy.

Just yesterday, March 21, Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim CFR got a handshake from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, right in the Aso Rock Villa, The Oracle’s Signature many has been yearning to get even with millions of Naira but only cost Jimoh Ibrahim nothing, this indeed is an handwritting too clear for people who have eyes to see.

Aside the President and Vice President who holds the highest national honours of Grand Commander of the Order of Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) respectively, the next is the Commander of the Order of Federal Republic (CFR) which Jimoh Ibrahim holds.

In recognition of his numerous contributions to the development of Nigeria, Ibrahim was awarded the prestigious national honours of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and later with higher honour of Commander of Order of Federal Republic (CFR).

What many did not know is that anyone with the national honour of CFR can have access to the President in Aso Rock Villa just in 48 hours if he so desire to see the President without any rigorous protocol attached.

Jimoh Ibrahim did not become a billionaire overnight, It’s not news that he was not born with silver spoon but his quest to end poverty informed his dedication to knowledge, hardwork, perseviarance, concentration and connection which has exposed him to the world.

Ibrahim, after leaving the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, has transversed the world’s most prestigious universities, Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard, as he now has nine degrees and two PhD’s in his kitty, just as the saying goes “The Secrets of the World Lies in the Book”

Jimoh Ibrahim in his quest to make education accessible to the grassroots invested in education through the establishment of a world-class University of Fortune in Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state which covered over 150 hectares of land with over 150 buildings on it.

He has business interest in insurance, banking, hotel, properties, education, oil and gas in Nigeria and scattered all over Africa and the world at large.

In politics, Jimoh Ibrahim is not a new comer but the oldest among all aspirants gunning for the guber poll because he has started contesting for the number one seat of the state since he was 39 years of age.

His few months at the National Assembly as Senator representing the good people of Ondo South has been tremendously commendable tbrough various bills he has moved and other empowerment he has given to the greasroots people.

Jimoh Ibrahim toiled day and night to crave a nitche for himself and to become a household name with his intimidating and unbeatable records from the grassroots to the world, who among other aspirants can beat these records or get the Aso Rock Oracle’s signature?
